Emre Safak

Emre Safak is a technology leader and entrepreneur with a robust background in machine learning and data science. As the Founder of Archipelago AI since March 2023, Emre is dedicated to developing innovative communication tools for remote work. Concurrently, Emre serves as the Technology Officer at Exin Health, focusing on establishing a solid technical and cultural foundation for the company. Previously, Emre contributed as a Machine Learning Engineer at Pinterest from October 2017 to May 2022, working on computational advertising initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Data Scientist at Kahuna, enhancing marketing automation, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Qeexo, where Emre improved the machine learning engine for mobile gesture recognition. Emre holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree from Middle East Technical University.
