Anne Mertens

Anne Mertens has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Anne began their career at BDO, where they worked in audit from September 1991 to July 1998. Anne then joined Alcatel-Lucent as a Tax and Accounting Manager from August 1998 to December 2007. In 2008, Anne joined Ontex as the Group Consolidation Director, leading the legal consolidation, group reporting, and ensuring IFRS compliance. Anne also served as a member of multiple corporate project teams, including IPO, refinancing, and M&A. Most recently, in July 2022, Anne joined Exmar as the Head of Consolidation & Accounting.

Anne Mertens attended Sint-Lutgardis from 1979 to 1986. Anne then pursued a degree in Handelsingenieur at KU Leuven from 1986 to 1990.
