Marcin Jurga

Marcin Jurga is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in research and development within the biotechnology field. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at EXO Biologics since August 2019, Marcin previously held leadership roles as R&D Director and R&D Manager at The Cell Factory from November 2011 to April 2019, and as a team leader and senior researcher at the Cell Therapy Research Institute in Lyon from January 2009 to August 2011. Early in the career, Marcin was the Laboratory Manager and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Human Genetics and the International Centre for Life at Newcastle University from February 2007 to December 2008. Marcin holds a PhD in Medical Sciences with a focus on Neurology and Adult Stem Cells from the Mossakowski Medical Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences and a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Warsaw.
