Drake Guenther

Drake Guenther is the Senior Director of Applications at Exo. Drake has over fifteen years of experience in acoustics and signal processing.

Drake Guenther was a Principal Engineer at Analogic from September 2013 to July 2017. There, they worked on various projects focused on exploiting active and passive acoustic phenomena.

From July 2011 to September 2013, Drake Guenther was a Senior Research Scientist at PocketSonics, Inc. There, they were the Principal Investigator and Program Manager for Naval Air Warfare Center's spread spectrum ping technologies Phase II SBIR program.

Drake Guenther obtained their Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in August 2003. Their research interests include advanced beamforming techniques, ultrasonic angular scatter, optimization, and signal processing. From May 2009 to July 2011, they were a Senior Engineer at Signal Systems Corporation.

Drake Guenther was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Duke University from January 2002 to May 2003.

Drake Guenther has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering and German from Duke University. Drake also has certifications in Deep Learning and Machine Learning from Coursera.

Drake Guenther reports to Sandeep Akkaraju, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Jimmy Cheng - VP, Manufacturing, Archana Tiwari - VP, Organizational Development, and Yusuf Haque - Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer & EVP, Engineering.
