Mark Holguin has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Mark has held various leadership positions at different companies over the years. Mark started their career at Prestige International as a VP. Mark then moved to Choice Hotels International, where they served as the Managing Director for Japan. Mark was responsible for franchise development, partner training, and brand auditing. After that, they joined Solare Hotels & Resorts as the Sr Vice President of the Sales & Revenue Management Group, where they oversaw marketing, advertising, PR, and sales operations. Mark then worked at the Imperial Springs International Summit and Kingold Group Companies Ltd. as a Vice President in different roles. Mark later became the General Manager at Asia Pacific International Club & Favorview Golf & Country Club. Mark also served as the Manager Director - Asia at Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd, overseeing the company's performance in the Asia region. Before their current position, they worked as a Management Consultant at Management Consulting Services, where they were involved in various projects. Currently, Mark is the President of EXO Travel, a leading destination management company in Asia, and also holds the position of General Manager for the company's Japan operations.
Mark Holguin attended Arizona State University from 1981 to 1986, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing. Mark also studied Japanese Language and Culture at Kansai Gaidai University from 1983 to 1984, obtaining a Certificate of Studies. Prior to that, they attended Mesa Community College from 1980 to 1981, focusing on General Studies. In 2014, Mark Holguin completed the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2.
