Uri Wollner

Uri Wollner, PhD, serves as the Algorithms Team Leader at Exodigo since March 2022, driving a data-focused team that innovates solutions for near-surface characterization through advanced remote sensing techniques. Prior to this role, Uri held positions as a Research Scientist at GE Research, where a significant contribution included developing an image stitching algorithm for 3D object registration, and as Lead Computer Vision Scientist at Blink Technologies Incorporation, focusing on predicting human visual focus through deep learning methodologies. Uri’s academic background features a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from Stanford University, where research centered on integrating theoretical rock physics models with deep learning, and earlier experience as a Research Assistant at Weizmann Institute of Science involved physics-based methods for analyzing cloud properties from satellite and radiosonde data.
