Reik Leiterer

Reik Leiterer has worked in various roles since 2004. Reik began their career at the University of Jena as a Project Research Associate. In 2012, they joined the University of Zurich as a Project Leader, Senior Scientist, and Research Associate/ Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2017, they became the CEO & Co-Founder of ExoLabs. In 2020, they joined Berner Fachhochschule BFH as a Lecturer and in 2022 they became an Innovation Officer at the data innovation alliance.

Reik Leiterer has a diverse educational background. Reik obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2006, majoring in Remote Sensing. Reik then continued their studies at the same university, receiving a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Geoinformatic and Remote Sensing in 2011. In 2016, they completed their Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr.sc.nat.) at the University of Zurich, specializing in Remote Sensing of Vegetation Structure. Additionally, they earned the Innosuisse Business Creation ICT certification from Venturelab in May 2019.
