Kalhari Palihakkara

Kalhari Palihakkara has had a long and varied career in finance and accounting, starting in 2003 as an Accounts Assistant at Durapack Private Ltd. Kalhari then worked as an Assistant Accountant -Quality Assurance at Quick Accountants of U.S.A Ltd in 2004, followed by an Accounts Administrator role at Kenshi UK Ltd in 2005. From 2006 to 2007, Kalhari worked as an Accounts Manager at TRANSACTION CO, where their role included monitoring and controlling debtors and issuing reminders to outstanding debtors. Kalhari then moved to Taylor Bradshaw Limited in 2007, where they were a Business Services-Accountant and regularly commuted to London to cater for specific client requirements. In 2010, Kalhari began working as a Financial Accountant at Cambridge Temperature Concepts Limited, followed by a Finance Manager role at Aspire Cambridge Ltd in 2016. In 2017, they became a Finance Manager at EXONATE LIMITED, and then a Finance Controller at Psyomics Ltd in 2015, where they worked on developing software to support healthcare practitioners.

Kalhari Palihakkara obtained their High School degree from Musaeus College between 1980 and 1996. Kalhari then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura -Sri Lanka between 1998 and 2002. In 2012, they completed their Master's Degree in Advance Accounting and Finance from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge. Kalhari also holds a certification from THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS (ACMA).
