Maite Labairu Trenchs

Maite Labairu Trenchs has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they interned at the University of Sheffield's Department of Automatic Control and Systems. In 2013, they interned at Airbus in Flight Control Engineering for the A350. From 2014 to 2015, Maite worked at Rolls-Royce as a Systems Engineer, participating in their Engineering Professional Excellence Program and gaining experience in product development, testing, and service support. In 2015, they joined Exor N.V. as an Analyst in Corporate Finance and IR, eventually progressing to the roles of Associate and Principal. Maite also pursued an MBA at Collège des Ingénieurs Italia (CDI Italia) during this time, gaining strategic business knowledge and completing a dedicated mission at Exor. In 2018, they became a Board member at Paris Office JV Limited, and, in 2022, they joined Welltec as a Board and F&A committee member.

Maite Labairu Trenchs has a strong educational background in engineering and aeronautical and space systems. Maite completed their Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering at La Salle BCN from 2007 to 2011. Maite then pursued a Master of Science in Aeronautical and Space Systems at ISAE-SUPAERO from 2011 to 2013. In 2010, Maite attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the Fall Term, where they studied engineering. Additionally, they participated in a summer session at UCLA in 2009 for engineering studies. Maite has also obtained additional certifications, including a Fintech Specialisation from CFTE - Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship in 2021 and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Rolls-Royce in 2015.
