Denis Imamović

Denis Imamović has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Denis started their career at Prevent Group BiH as a Process/Project Engineer from April 2017 to January 2018. Denis then advanced to the role of Project Manager from January 2018 to November 2018.

Following their time at Prevent Group BiH, Denis joined DKR – German Center for Robotics as a Development Engineer from November 2018 to September 2019.

In 2019, they joined Virgin Pulse as a Software/Data Engineer and worked there for three years until November 2022.

Denis's next career venture was at In-Cognito SaaS Business as a Data Engineer from April 2022 to July 2023.

Currently, Denis is working at Exos as a Data Engineer. Denis is responsible for developing a research platform for trading services. Denis'smain tasks include building a Python-based library for processing market data, utilizing Dask as the main processing engine deployed on Kubernetes clusters and Prefect as the primary job scheduler. Additionally, Denis contributes to the development of a custom market feed handler using Rust.

Denis Imamović obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tuzla, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In December 2021, they completed the "Learning Terraform" certification from LinkedIn. In June 2021, they obtained the "AWS: Storage and Data Management" certification, also from LinkedIn. Further, they earned the "Six Sigma Foundations" certification from LinkedIn in February 2021. In December 2019, Denis completed the "Machine Learning" certification from Coursera, and in July 2019, they obtained the "Python 3 Tutorial" certification from SoloLearn.
