Claudio Di Folco

Claudio Di Folco has extensive work experience in various roles. Claudio is currently working at Exostar as a Senior QA Engineer Lead since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Pirean - An Exostar Company from 2018 to 2022, where they served as a Software Test Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for all testing activities, including test planning, bug reporting, and execution of manual and automated tests. Claudio designed and implemented front-end and API level testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Java, Gradle, Cucumber, and Postman.

Before joining Pirean, Claudio worked at Braingineers as a Software Test Engineer from 2017 to 2018. Here, they handled day-to-day testing activities and performed regression, functional, and exploratory testing on software across different operating systems and browsers.

Prior to transitioning to the software industry, Claudio worked as a Building Control Officer at Lomma commun/The Municipality of Lomma from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they focused on the technical aspects of the building permit process, conducted site visits, and collaborated with construction companies and architects.

Before that, Claudio worked at Umeå Kommun as a Building Control Officer from 2014 to 2015. In this position, they were responsible for technical reviews, site visits, and permissions for various construction projects, including the handling of demolition projects.

Earlier in their career, Claudio worked as an Information Officer at Byggmax AB from 2009 to 2011.

Throughout their career, Claudio has gained a diverse set of skills and knowledge in software testing, building control, communication, leadership, and design rules based on Eurocode.

Claudio Di Folco has a diverse education history. Claudio attended Malmö University from 2011 to 2014, where they studied structural engineering. Prior to that, they studied leadership and project management at Malmö Yrkeshögskola from 2006 to 2007. In 2004, Claudio attended Kristianstad University, where they pursued a degree in engineering/industrial management.

In terms of additional certifications, Claudio obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in April 2023.
