Lucien Charmettan

Lucien Charmettan is an accomplished R&D Project Manager at Exotec since August 2020, with extensive experience in product development, particularly in robot vacuum cleaners and steam cleaners. Prior to this role, Lucien served as a Development Project Manager at Groupe SEB from January 2013 to July 2020, where responsibilities included pre-assessment of ODM/OEM proposals and leading test analyses on competitor products. Lucien's notable achievements include co-inventing four patents related to robotic and steam cleaning technologies and participating in international standard committees focused on performance evaluation of cleaning robots. Lucien holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole des Mines d'Alès and completed a semester at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering.
