Bert Chavez

Ms. Bert Chavez is a Senior Program Manager at Expedia, where since February 2007, responsibilities have included leading and managing multi-faceted projects using agile/scrum methodologies for various implementations and upgrades. Prior to Expedia, Ms. Chavez served as a Senior Consultant at Oracle and PeopleSoft from January 1999 to February 2007, focusing on full project implementations of HRMS in diverse sectors such as commercial manufacturing and higher education. Earlier experience includes the role of Human Resources Assistant Director & Implementation Lead at Central Washington University, overseeing the implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS, and serving as a Human Resources Facilitator II at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, specializing in classification and compensation. Ms. Chavez holds a BA in Communications from UC Santa Barbara.
