Hisham M.

Hisham M. is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for the Machine Learning Platform at Expedia Group since August 2019, Hisham oversees a diverse team of over 60 engineers across multiple countries. Prior roles at Expedia include Director of Machine Learning Engineering and Senior Manager of Machine Learning Engineering, where Hisham led initiatives to enhance machine learning practices and deliver innovative products. Previous experience includes positions at Appway as Lead Architect and Senior Solutions Architect, as well as roles at Sensirion, Menescorp, the Université de Genève, Nile University, and Emic. Hisham holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Geneva, a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from Nile University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University.
