Kiran Vallala

Kiran Vallala is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Expedia Group since April 2016, Kiran specializes in end-to-end streaming applications utilizing Apache Flink and Kafka, along with batch processing using Apache Spark and Hudi. Prior roles include SDE III, where emphasis was placed on data analytics with SQL and Snowflake, and a transition to AWS technologies. Before Expedia, Kiran worked as a System Analyst at Imetris, delivering Oracle Hyperion solutions to various clients, and as a Senior Consultant at HCL Technologies, focusing on Hyperion applications for Deutsche Bank. Kiran's career began as a System Analyst at Mahindra Satyam, collaborating with clients across multiple sectors. Kiran holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from Osmania University.
