Rick Fast

Rick Fast is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Expedia Group since November 2015, Rick Fast oversees a global engineering team responsible for the company's customer-facing websites and mobile applications across multiple B2C brands, including Expedia and Hotels.com. Prior roles at Expedia Group include Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Platform Architecture, where Rick Fast drove significant technological advancements. Previous experience includes senior engineering positions at Orbitz Worldwide and expertise as a video instructor and author for O'Reilly Media. Rick Fast holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Illinois State University.
