Michael Schwartz

Michael Schwartz is a Research Scientist at Expedition Technology Inc, specializing in mathematics, statistics, signal processing, and machine learning since March 2022. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Kena.AI, where successful development of AI pipelines for a music education startup resulted in over 10,000 monthly active users. Michael's academic contributions include a senior research project at UCLA focused on inertial sensor fusion, earning an "A" for minimizing pose estimation errors. Additionally, Michael founded the first collegiate chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at UCLA and has held various research and leadership roles, including a significant internship at Cedars-Sinai dedicated to MRI systems optimization. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in June 2020.
