Liang Lin

Liang Lin is an experienced data scientist currently employed at Experian since December 2016, with previous experience at FICO as an analytical scientist from January 2015 to December 2016, where responsibilities included developing predictive models for fraud prevention and analyzing large datasets to enhance fraud detection methods. Prior to that, Liang worked as an assistant researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles in late 2014, and at UCLA from April 2009 to November 2014, both roles entailing offsite work. Liang also served as a visiting scientist at the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center from March 2009 to January 2011, after earning a Ph.D. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2002 and 2008, following a B.S. in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China from 1997 to 2002.
