Tiger Shen

Tiger Shen is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Welcome since 2020, where support is provided to a team of product managers, engineers, and designers. Prior to this role, Tiger was a Founding Member of Paper Club, establishing a computer science and machine learning study group focused on deep learning and neural networks in the San Francisco Bay Area from 2017 to 2020. Between 2017 and 2019, Tiger operated as a professional sports bettor, developing algorithms to predict outcomes across multiple professional sports leagues for platforms like DraftKings and FanDuel. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Braintree from August 2015 to November 2016, focusing on core payment experiences and merchant disputes. Tiger is also pursuing studies at the Bradfield School of Computer Science since 2017 and is a graduate of Albany High School, class of 2015.
