Sarah Cashen

Sarah Cashen started their work experience in 2006 as an Administrative Assistant at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. Sarah held this role until 2011 when they transitioned to the National Archives of Ireland as an IT Support Technician. After three years, they became a Bartender at Mullins Pub for a year before joining Pour Boy as a Bartender as well. In 2016, they returned to the National Archives of Ireland as an IT Support Technician, and in 2017, they joined the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media as an Information Technology Specialist. Sarah then transitioned into the role of Information Technology Project Manager in 2021. Currently, they are working as a Technical Support Engineer at Experlogix since 2023.

Sarah Cashen has a diverse education history. In 2008, they obtained a certification in Pro Tools 101 & 110 from Avid. In 2011, Sarah obtained a Diploma in IT Applications from City & Guilds. Sarah furthered their education by completing the ITIL Foundation Level certification through PeopleCert in April 2019. From 2016 to 2018, Sarah attended the Institute of Public Administration, where they earned a Diploma in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in IT Management at the same institute, completing it in 2020. In the academic year 2020-2021, Sarah obtained a Certificate in Digital Marketing from Dublin Business School. From 2021 to 2022, they attended University College Dublin and obtained a Professional Diploma in Business Analysis. Additionally, Sarah has obtained several certifications, including the PRINCE2 2017 Practitioner certification from PeopleCert in August 2021, the A2 Drone Licence from EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency in September 2021, and the Microsoft Advertising Search Certification from Microsoft in April 2022. Sarah also obtained certifications in Programming Using HTML and CSS from Microsoft, Advanced Google Analytics from Google, and Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy, all in 2021.
