Akizi-Egnim Akala

Akizi-Egnim Akala currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for Africa at Expertise France, responsible for developing partnerships, strategizing, and implementing project activities. Prior roles include Deputy Regional Coordinator for the SEACOP VI Project, Operations Coordinator and Country Officer at INTERPOL focused on the WAPIS Programme, and research positions at the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime and UN MINUSMA. Akizi-Egnim has an extensive background in law enforcement and transnational crime, having also trained personnel on police cooperation during a tenure at Police Togo. Educational qualifications include a PhD candidacy in International Relations from CEDS and various master's degrees, including in Conflictology and Human Resource Management.
