Roy Wakim

Roy Wakim is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in managing health programs and portfolios. Currently serving as a Technical Advisor for Expertise France focusing on the Eastern Mediterranean Region within The Global Fund Board, Roy has previously held significant roles, including Senior Fund Portfolio Manager at The Global Fund, where oversight of grant portfolios in the Middle East and North Africa was a key responsibility. Additional roles include Projects and Programs Coordinator at the Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon, where Roy led the national Hospital Accreditation Program, and a National Consultant for the World Bank Health Sector Rehabilitation Project. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, both from the American University of Beirut.
