EXP, a 501(c)3 organization based in Carson, is the opportunity engine. Our programs help schools deliver an innovative, career-based curriculum that makes classroom learning relevant and exciting. During the 2021-2022 school year, EXP programs are made available to more than 6,350 high school students in 11 Southern California high schools. 

Our success depends on our unique ability to bring industry and schools together to solve problems and overcome obstacles that prevent students'​ access to education, experience and opportunities. More than 400 industry leaders serve as EXP volunteers, mentors and internship hosts.

By helping schools and industry work together, EXP is changing how society prepares students for life and bringing genuine opportunity to every young person we can reach.

The Development and Fundraising team at EXP is responsible for securing financial support and resources to sustain and expand the organization’s innovative educational programs. This team engages with institutional donors, cultivates relationships with industry partners, and coordinates fundraising initiatives, ensuring that EXP can continue to bridge the gap between education and real-world opportunities for high school students in Southern California. Through strategic planning and outreach efforts, the team plays a crucial role in driving the organization's mission forward.
