Po-Shen Loh has a diverse work experience starting from 2004. Po-Shen worked as a Deputy Team Leader for the United States in the 2004 International Mathematical Olympiad. In 2007, they interned as a Quantitative Analyst at The D.E. Shaw Group. The following year, they interned as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research Theory Group. From 2010 to 2013, they served as the Deputy Team Leader for the United States in the International Mathematical Olympiads. In 2014, they founded Expii, Inc. Additionally, in 2013, they became the National Coach of the USA International Mathematical Olympiad team for the Mathematical Association of America. In 2019, they founded Daily Challenge with Po-Shen Loh, a company offering live video math classes. Currently, they hold the position of a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where they have progressed from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and then to Professor.
Po-Shen Loh completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Caltech from 2000 to 2004. Po-Shen then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge from 2004 to 2005. Po-Shen furthered their education by obtaining a Ph.D. in Mathematics at Princeton University, where they studied from 2005 to 2010.
