August Slijkhuis is a Junior Application Engineer at eX:plain since January 2023, with a diverse background in IT support and database administration. Previous experience includes working as a SQL Database Administrator and logistics specialist at Pelsis and Harthoorn Coldstores, as well as a Support Engineer at Mansystems, where August provided support across various roles and managed server environments. August holds a Bachelor's degree in Fundamentals of Google Android Development from Alison and a MAVO from Liemers College. Proficient in operations systems like Redhat and CentOS, scripting in Shell and Perl, and utilizing tools such as MySQL and Nagios, August is well-versed in ITIL processes and web services management.
