Natasha Vernooij

Human Factors Research Intern

Natasha Vernooij, Ph.D., is a dedicated researcher and educator in the field of psychology, currently serving as a Human Factors Research Intern at Explico since June 2025. Natasha completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at the University of Michigan and previously earned a Master of Science in Psychology from the same institution. Academic experience includes a role as a Lecturer I of Psychology at the University of Michigan, where Natasha taught undergraduate students to design and execute psychological research projects. Natasha has also held research positions, including a Research Fellowship focused on tolerance in political and social contexts, and research assistant roles in cognitive development and emotional processes at Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, respectively. Additionally, Natasha has experience in various roles within hospitality services, demonstrating a diverse skill set and strong commitment to understanding human behavior.
