Head of Certification at Expliseat

Serge Peillex has over two decades of experience in various roles related to certification and testing in the aerospace and automotive industries. Serge currently serves as the Head of Certification at EXPLISEAT, where they are responsible for ensuring compliance with aviation safety requirements for the TiSeat E2, the world's lightest aircraft seat. Serge's previous experience includes working as the Head of Testing Labs - Electrical Safety at Bureau Veritas Group, where they managed a team and supervised the organization of tests for various electrical appliances. Prior to that, they held positions at Zodiac Aerospace, where they served as a Certification Manager for crew seats and passenger seats and as a Test Facility Manager. Serge also worked at Faurecia Automotive Seating as a Project Leader for Passive Safety. Throughout their career, they have developed extensive technical expertise and knowledge of FAA and EASA regulations. Serge is known for their strong customer support skills and ability to manage in-service issues.

Serge PEILLEX pursued their education in the field of materials composites. In 1994, they specialized in Materials Composites. Prior to that, they attended L. Technique Henri Brisson where they completed their BTS (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) in Industrial Product Design, with a focus on Bureau d'Etudes (Engineering Design Office). In 1989, they completed their Baccalauréat F1 (a French high school diploma) in Fabrication Mécanique (Mechanical Manufacturing) at L. Technique P.E. Martin.
