Ahmed Farouk

Ahmed Farouk is an experienced commercial leader with a robust background in business development and growth across various industries in the EMEA and MENA regions. Currently serving as the Commercial Director at erad since August 2025, Ahmed has previously held key positions including Business Development Director for SkyCell AG, where a new IoT and SaaS product line was launched, and Country Manager for Taptap Send, leading the company's entry into the MENA market. With a foundation as a co-founder and Commercial Director at Quiqup, and other roles that include managing key accounts at Zomato and building sales functions at Zbooni, Ahmed has consistently demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, team expansion, and driving operational success. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, along with marketing qualifications from Loughborough University and Cairo University.
