Andrea Tuo

Andrea Tuo has extensive experience in the supply chain and procurement field, primarily in the cruise industry. Andrea started their career at V.Ships in 2014 as a Buyer, where they gained experience in managing the purchasing process and coordinating deliveries of ship spares and stores. In 2016, they joined Silversea Cruises as part of the Purchasing Department, where they handled all aspects of ordering and delivering food, beverage, and hotel supplies to the ship. Andrea maintained constant contact with suppliers and the onboard team to ensure the highest level of service. In 2019, Andrea joined MSC Cruises as a Buyer, responsible for strategic sourcing, category management, and market analysis of grocery items for the cruise fleet. Andrea also managed vendor relationships and performed performance reviews. Their role at MSC Cruises evolved into a Category Manager position, where they continued to excel in managing the procurement process. Most recently, Andrea joined Explora Journeys as a Senior Manager Sourcing Food & Beverage, starting in 2023.

Andrea Tuo started their education journey in 2011 when they pursued a Master's degree in international relations and diplomacy at University College Cork.
