Gabriele Desalvo

Gabriele Desalvo has extensive work experience in various industries. Currently, they are working as a Strategic Sourcing Expert at Explora Journeys since March 2022. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned categories and projects, including supplier rationalization, selection and qualifications, supplier relationship and management programs, and targeted cost improvements. Gabriele also conducts market analysis, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership assessments for comprehensive category profiles.

Before joining Explora Journeys, Gabriele worked at MSC Cruises as a Procurement Project Manager from May 2018 to June 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Inventory Compliance Officer within the Procurement Function from July 2015 to April 2018.

Gabriele'searlier experience includes working as an Internal Controller at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare SPA from June 2013 to July 2015. Gabriele also completed a Post Graduation Master program at ISTUD Business School from October 2012 to April 2013.

Gabriele started their career as an Insurance Consultant at Ina Assitalia in 2011 and later undertook a real estate internship at Gruppo Toscano S.p.A from June to August 2011.

Gabriele Desalvo pursued a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Genova, Department of Law, at the Università degli Studi di Genova. This educational journey took place from 2003 to 2009.
