Oleksiy Matveyev

Oleksiy Matveyev has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Oleksiy began their career as a Trainee at TELEKART-PRIBOR LTD, where they gained experience in assembly, soldering, and configuration of components for various industries. Oleksiy then worked as a Technician at T&D LTD, handling office equipment and troubleshooting computer issues.

In 2005, Oleksiy joined Matrix LTD as a Users Support Center Technician & Network Monitoring System Operator, providing technical support for dial-up and network users. Oleksiy also monitored network equipment and managed servers and routers on a Linux base.

From 2006 to 2007, they worked as an IT Specialist at LOUISE CRUISE LINES, where they served as a ship network administrator and Unix server administrator.

In 2007, Oleksiy became an IT Officer at INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING PARTNERS, responsible for ship network administration, computer maintenance, and repair.

Oleksiy'snext role was as a Communication Officer at Fred. Olsen from 2017 to 2018, where they handled communication tasks.

In 2018, they joined The World as the Chief Electronic Engineer, a position they held until 2022.

From 2019 to 2022, Oleksiy worked as a Product Owner at WEWEB LLC, where they managed product development.

Currently, they are employed as an IT Project Lead at Explora Journeys, starting in 2022.

Throughout their career, Oleksiy has gained expertise in IT project management, network development, software system integration, and various technical support roles.

Oleksiy Matveyev obtained their Specialist degree in Radio Technician from the Machine-Tool Technical College, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. After a gap in education, in 2013, they attended the Odessa professional college of maritime transport to become a Ship's Electrician, completing the 2nd grade program.
