Kristin Leigh

Kristin Leigh served as Co-Executive Director at Explora Science Center and Children's Museum from August 2001 to December 2022, where responsibilities included creating and implementing a development plan aimed at raising $600,000 through various fundraising initiatives and collaborating with the Board of Directors' Development Committee. Prior to this role, Kristin was the Gifted Program Coordinator and a teacher at Hopi Elementary School from August 1996 to June 2001, overseeing a gifted program for 117 students and administering cognitive assessments across grades K-5. Kristin holds a Master of Education in Science Education and Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University.
