Emilie Soffe serves as the Director of Content at Explore Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau since June 2023. As Co-Owner of Piehole Live Arts, an award-nominated NYC live arts collective, Emilie has contributed to innovative live art productions since 2015. Previously held the position of Senior Content Manager at Farm Sanctuary from March 2019 to February 2021, where Emilie set content strategy and led a creative team, enhancing the organization’s digital presence. At TED Conferences from October 2011 to March 2019, Emilie founded TED-Ed’s social media team and significantly increased its digital following while managing social media strategy across multiple platforms. Emilie’s career also includes a role as Director of Membership and Marketing for The Shakespeare Society. Emilie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009.
