Akinyele Akinyelu

Akinyele Akinyelu has been working in the IT industry since 2000. Akinyele began their career as a Solutions Developer at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a Sr. Solutions Developer at OAO Corporation, where they led a team of software engineers to develop an OnDemand data center solution. In 2002, they joined Lockheed Martin as a Solutions Architect and led an innovations team of software engineers and architects. In 2011, they were promoted to LM Fellow at Lockheed Martin IS&GS, where they oversaw applied research and advanced engineering in the development of a new enterprise integration solution. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as Chief Solutions Architect at Leidos. Currently, they are serving as Chief Technology Officer at Explore Digits Inc.

Akinyele Akinyelu obtained their Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Towson University between 1994 and 1996. Akinyele then went on to receive their Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland between 1994 and 1996. In December 2020, Akinyele Akinyelu was awarded the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
