Riya S

Riya S has a diverse work experience in the field of Cloud/DevOps engineering. Riya started their career as a Linux Administrator at Reliance Industries Limited in 2013, where they gained experience in installation, configuration, and provisioning of Linux systems. From 2016 to 2017, Riya worked as a Build and Release Engineer at Escrow Infotech, focusing on AWS services and designing applications for high availability and fault tolerance.

In 2017, Riya joined Capgemini as a DevOps Engineer and played a key role in setting up and building AWS infrastructure. Riya also utilized AWS Beanstalk for fast deployment and scaling of web applications. In 2020, Riya worked at Masco Corporation as a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer, where they configured Azure cloud services and managed Azure resources.

During their time at United Airlines from 2020 to 2021, Riya held the position of Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer, where they integrated AWS DynamoDB, implemented backup and recovery, and managed billing across AWS accounts.

Currently, Riya is working at Goldman Sachs as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer, starting in August 2021.

Riya S has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU). In addition to their academic qualifications, Riya holds certifications in Amazon Web Services Solutions Architecture Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in June 2021, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp, which they earned in July 2021.
