Chris Montgomery

Chris Montgomery is an experienced policy leader currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Policy Officer at the Explorers and Producers Association of Canada (EPAC) since January 2021, where efforts focus on the development and execution of advocacy campaigns related to climate policy. Prior to EPAC, Chris held various roles at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) from 2013 to 2020, enhancing community engagement and stakeholder trust. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Parliamentary Affairs in the Office of the Leader of the Government in the Senate, where Chris successfully advanced the government’s agenda through the Senate. Chris holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a B.Sc. from McGill University, along with additional certificates in Indigenous Canada and Spanish Language and Culture.
