Richard Bolton, Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Richard is currently serving as the Director of Operations - Forests at ExplorUS, a position they have held since May 2022. Before their tenure at Sage Bank, Richard was a Director at Benjamin Franklin Bank, where they were actively involved in high-level strategic decisions and served in the bank's executive committee. Richard also served as the President and a member of the Board of Directors at Vitex Extrusion, LLC, an aluminum extrusion company.
Richard's earlier career includes positions as the CEO, President, and a member of the Board of Directors at Chart Bank, a commercial and customer-oriented community bank, and Senior Vice President - Retail Banking & Operations | Systems Officer at Pioneer Bank, where they managed a retail bank network and implemented sales and business development programs.
Richard's career started at Stratus Computer as a Software & Diagnostic Development Engineer and Computer Center Manager, where they contributed to various fault-tolerant computer system designs and developed diagnostics. Richard also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Wang Laboratories, where they collaborated with design engineers and manufacturing personnel to introduce new products into the manufacturing process.
Richard Bolton, Jr. attended Norwich University from 1979 to 1981, where they focused on Business Administration. Richard then attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1982, studying Electronic Technology at Sylvania Technical Institute. In addition to their educational background, Richard has obtained certification in "Implementing a Customer Centric Culture" from the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center in 2011.
