David De Carvalho has a diverse work experience in the fields of sales, marketing, and brand management. David is currently serving as the Head of Brand Marketing at Expo 2020 Dubai since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Kempinski Hotels from August 2018 to April 2021. Before that, they held the position of Head of Sales and Marketing at Sekoya Hotels and Resorts from September 2016 to August 2018. From February 2014 to September 2016, they were the Head of Marketing and Sales at DEMIND. David also served as the Head of Marketing & Events at The ONE Group from March 2011 to February 2014. David's earlier experience includes working as the Head of Sales and Marketing at Boutique Hotel Group Ltd from December 2001 to October 2010.

David De Carvalho obtained a Master's Degree in Marketing & PR Administration from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1997, they completed a degree in Marketing and PR Administration, with a focus on Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations, General, also at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa.
