Basil Kalaitzis

Basil Kalaitzis is an accomplished architect and design professional with extensive experience in leading design initiatives for major events and projects. Currently serving as Associate Director - Design at Expo City Dubai since September 2022, Basil previously held similar roles at Expo 2020 Dubai and has a significant background in architectural design and management at Consolidated Contractors International Company, masterworks Greece, and fluid architects Greece. Notable achievements include serving as Lead Design Engineer for the Lusail Multipurpose Hall, project director for various prestigious projects, and contributing to the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games. Basil holds multiple degrees in architecture and related fields and continues to engage in further education.
