Waleed Zidan

Waleed Zidan is a seasoned professional in network operations and technologies, currently serving as Head of Network Operations at Expo City Dubai since April 2023. Previously, Waleed held the position of Senior Manager for Network Technologies at Expo 2020 Dubai, where significant contributions included the establishment of mega-sized event networks featuring over 20,000 nodes. With extensive experience as a Network and Security Consultant at Thuraya Telecommunications Company, Waleed developed robust network specifications and performance evaluations. Earlier roles encompassed network administration and engineering at various IT and telecommunications companies, including Global Information Technology, ATS, and AYA ISP. Waleed holds a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering from Damascus University.
