Derek Manuel

Derek Manuel possesses extensive experience in the technology and event management sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer at UC Innovation since March 2017, Derek focuses on Salesforce implementations for Higher Education organizations, contributing to the development of the Ascend product. As a Co-Founder of ExpoGenie from January 2019, Derek is involved in creating software that enhances sponsor revenue and management for event planners. Previously, Derek held the role of Partner Relations Manager at FreemanXP, overseeing trade show and sponsorship fulfillment from February 2010 to March 2013, and served as Product Manager at Avenuesocial Inc. from January 2008 to March 2010, leading application development projects. Derek’s educational background includes training at the Internet Marketing Center from 2001 to 2009.
