Maciej Strzałkowski

Maciej Strzałkowski has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

Maciej is currently working at expondo Poland as an Engineering Team Lead, where they provide agile team leadership and mentors developers. Maciej manages projects using the Agile methodology and implements solutions using various technologies such as PHP 8, Symfony, Laravel, and MySQL, among others. Maciej also develops systems that enable the integration of order flow between complex dependencies.

Prior to this, they owned their own company called lamers.pl since 2004, where they were responsible for PHP, MySQL, Symfony, and Laravel development. Maciej also handled tasks related to database design, system integration, and data security consulting. Maciej managed over 10 CRM/ERP systems supporting the submission and settlement of applications for co-financing in EU and national programs.

From 2018 to 2020, Maciej worked at Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju as the Kierownik Sekcji Rozwoju Oprogramowania, and from 2009 to 2015, they served as a Senior IT Administrator at Plastics Group Sp. z o.o., focusing on FreeBSD administration, PHP/MySQL application development, and integration with Microsoft Dynamics Axapta.

Earlier in their career, they worked as an IT Administrator and Webmaster at Fundacja Fundusz Współpracy from 2001 to 2007, and as a Novell specialist at Altkom S.A. from 1999 to 2000.

Maciej Strzałkowski's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Warsaw University of Technology, which they obtained from 1998 to 2003. In 2015, they enrolled at Warsaw University of Technology Business School, specializing in FBA - Family Business Academy. As for additional certifications, Maciej obtained the following: Agile Planning for Software Products, Client Needs and Software Requirements, and Reviews & Metrics for Software Improvements from the University of Alberta in March 2018. Maciej also earned a certification in Software Processes and Agile Practices from the University of Alberta in February 2016. Additionally, Maciej is certified as an Internal Auditor for ISO9001:2000 and holds a CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco, and a CNA - Certified Novell Administrator certification from Novell.
