Luke Townsend

Luke Townsend has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Luke most recently worked at Expion Health, where they held the position of Director of Applied Machine Learning since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Lead Data Analyst at the same company from June 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Expion Health, Luke worked as an Independent Consultant at Bluestem Analytics LLC from February 2020 to October 2021. Luke also gained teaching experience as an Instructor at Kansas State University - Department of Finance, where they taught Financial Modeling to a class of 30 students from January 2021 to May 2021.

Luke's early career includes roles such as Investment Analyst at Kansas State University Foundation from March 2015 to March 2019, and Tutor for Principles of Finance at Kansas State University - Department of Finance from January 2014 to May 2015. Luke began their education in 2012 at Kansas State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance, General as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Luke attended Kansas State University from 2012 to 2015. In 2019, Luke enrolled at BloomTech and pursued studies in Data Science, graduating in 2020.

Additionally, Luke has obtained a certification in CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) from CAIA Association in November 2017.
