Aarit Ahuja

Machine Learning Scientist at Exponent

Aarit Ahuja, PhD has a diverse work experience in various research and academic roles. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at Mahidol University, assisting with behavior and immunology research on stray canine populations in Bangkok. In 2015, they were a Summer Research Fellow at The Conference Board. From 2012 to 2016, they held multiple roles at Wesleyan University, including Senior Interviewer, Research Assistant where they led projects on addiction neural circuits, House Manager, and Head Event Management Intern. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Research and Development Collaborator at Hyundai Motor Group, initiating collaboration for measuring and analyzing physiological data for autonomous technologies. From 2016 to 2023, they were at Brown University, initially as a Graduate Student and later as a Postdoctoral Scientist, leading collaborative research projects and developing experimental and imaging paradigms for nonhuman primates. Most recently, since 2023, they have been employed by Exponent as a Machine Learning Scientist.

Aarit Ahuja, PhD, acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Wesleyan University, attending from 2012 to 2016. Aarit later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience at Brown University from 2016 to 2022.
