Astrid Winther Fischer

Astrid Winther Fischer currently holds the position of Associate at Exponent since June 2023. Prior to this role, Astrid was a Ph.D. student at The Johns Hopkins University from September 2016 to May 2023, where Astrid also earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Astrid’s earlier experience includes a weekend assistant position at Semler Retail A/S from January 2012 to August 2016 and serving as a teaching assistant in Soil Mechanics at the Technical University of Denmark on two occasions in 2014 and 2015. Astrid has an extensive educational background in Civil Engineering, with a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, as well as a visiting graduate student experience at The Johns Hopkins University. Academic foundations were laid at HTX CELF, completing high school with a focus on Mathematics and Physics.
