Bahadir Sarikaya

Bahadir Sarikaya is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as an Associate/Vehicle Mechanical Engineer at Exponent since January 2023, focusing on Vehicle Engineering practices. Prior to this role, Bahadir was a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from September 2017 to December 2022, contributing to the Structural Dynamics and Acoustics System Lab by developing dynamic models and diagnostic tools for vibration and acoustic analysis, as well as optimizing the performance of transmissions and electric vehicles. Bahadir's earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Aselsan from April 2015 to August 2017, where responsibilities included mechanical design and testing for Turkey's first Electric Bus initiative. Bahadir earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bilkent University.
