Claire Pottle

Claire Pottle has a diverse work experience in various roles. Claire is currently working at Exponent as a Senior Scientist - Regulatory Toxicologist, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were a member of the Education, Training and Career Development Subcommittee at the British Toxicology Society starting in May 2019. In this role, they focused on providing training and education opportunities, as well as promoting professional development in the field of toxicology.

From 2013 to 2022, Claire worked at Sequani Limited, where they held multiple positions. As a Toxicologist/Study Director, they managed general, juvenile, and reproductive toxicology studies across different species. Claire also actively participated in the Sequani outreach program, presenting to schools and colleges and conducting tours of the facility. Earlier in their career at Sequani, they served as an Associate Toxicologist/Study Supervisor.

Claire's work experience also includes a role as a Laboratory Technician at Cotteswold Dairy from 2012 to 2013, where they contributed to laboratory operations. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Communications Assistant at the World Petroleum Council in August and September 2010.

Claire Pottle completed their education at the University of Birmingham from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Biochemistry. Afterward, they attended the University of the West of England in the year 2010 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Chemistry.
