Connor Slone, Ph.D., P.E. has extensive work experience in engineering and research. Connor is currently a Managing Engineer at Exponent, where they previously held positions as a Senior Engineer and Associate. Prior to this, Connor worked at The Ohio State University as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow, focusing on the mechanical response of multi-principal element alloys. Connor also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the same institution. Connor has also gained experience as a Science Policy Intern at Washington Internships for Students of Engineering (WISE). Additionally, they worked as a Student Technician at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Materials Directorate.
Connor Slone, Ph.D., P.E. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering with Magna Cum Laude honors from The Ohio State University in 2014. Connor then pursued further education at the same institution and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Science and Engineering in 2019.
