Denis Weber

Denis Weber currently serves as a Managing Scientist in Environmental Modelling at Exponent since November 2018. Prior to this role, Denis was a Senior Expert in Environmental & Ecological Modelling at Eurofins Regulatory AG from March 2012 to October 2018. Earlier experience includes positions as an Environmental Fate & Ecological Modeller and Product Safety Expert at Harlan Laboratories, Inc. from January 2010 to February 2012, and a PhD Researcher at RWTH Aachen University from July 2006 to July 2009, where Denis conducted a thesis project in collaboration with Bayer CropScience AG. The dissertation focused on the effects of time-variable pesticide exposure on green algae populations and involved innovative ecological modelling techniques. Denis also completed a Diploma Thesis at Bayer Crop Science in 2005-2006, which examined the relationship between ecotoxic and ecochemical system models, alongside an internship.
