Kaichen Gu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2014, Kaichen worked as an intern at Metaswitch Networks, where they developed a tool called CCDRC using Scala and Akka actor toolkit. This tool processed a large amount of call billing records and stored them in a Cassandra Database. From 2015 to 2020, Kaichen worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Princeton University, conducting research in an unspecified field. In 2020, they joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, a position which they held until 2021. Currently, Kaichen is employed at Exponent, starting as an Engineer in September 2021 and progressing to the role of Senior Engineer in April 2023.
